Born on November 25 1968 Jillian Noel Hennessy is dynamic Canadian performer and actress who has been praised for her notable contribution to American television. The actress has made well-known due to her portrayals as Claire Kincaid in Law & Order and Crossing Jordan. Hennessy showed her talent in films that were independent, like Chutney Popcorn or The Acting Class. Hennessy started her acting career with her sister, playing twin call-girls on Dead Ringers in 1988. In 1990, she briefly made an appearance as a guest on Broadway in the role of Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story. She then moved into sci-fi and played her first role as Dr. Marie Lazarus (RoboCop 3) in 1993. In the following year the biggest breakthrough came when she joined the NBC's sensational drama Law & Order to play assistant district attorneys Claire Kincaid. Her three-season stint in the character was well-loved by the public. She left in 1996. Parker has appeared in films and television shows like RED Fried Green Tomatoes Boys on the Side The West Wing Angels in America for which she received an award of a Golden Globe and an Emmy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Parker received an Tony Award in 2001 for Best Actress, for her part as Proof on Broadway.
